Reduced setup fee ($149/$199/$299 depending on tier), same platform, same stickers, same monthly rate. If you continue after 60 days, your pilot setup fee is credited toward the full setup. If not, you owe nothing more.

TapTheMap provides the NFC wayfinding platform — the stickers, hosting, admin tools, and analytics. We work with maps and graphics you provide, optimizing them for phone-screen delivery. If you need a venue map designed or updated, we're happy to offer guidance and can connect you with design professionals who specialize in venue cartography.

We accept credit card, ACH transfer, check, or purchase order. Standard payment terms are Net 30 from invoice date. We're happy to accommodate other terms for institutional buyers.
The one-time setup fee can be categorized as a capital expenditure (CapEx). Monthly or annual subscription fees are operating expenses (OpEx). We can document this on your invoice.
Pay annually and save up to 15%. Starter: $399/yr. Growth: $849/yr. Campus: $1,399/yr. Annual plans provide budget certainty and reduce procurement cycles.
Subscription prices will not increase by more than 10% in any 12-month period. Any increase requires 60 days' written notice. See our Terms of Service.
Optional add-on service, starting at $250. Includes travel, on-site signal testing at planned sticker locations, and a written report with placement recommendations. Quoted per venue.
Technology Assessment Project LLC carries general business liability insurance. Certificates of insurance available on request for vendor onboarding. Privacy policy documents our zero-data-collection commitment.
What if I need more stickers than my tier includes?
Additional stickers are $8 each for any quantity. Replacement stickers for damaged or lost tags are provided at no additional charge.
What's a content destination?
A content destination is a unique hosted page that your NFC stickers can link to — typically a venue map, but it could also be an event schedule, a trail guide, a menu, or a separate zone map. Every tier includes at least one destination (Campus includes three). If you need stickers that point to different content — say a map at the entrance and a schedule at the event kiosk — add destinations for $25/month each. All destinations are managed from a single admin login, no extra accounts needed.
Is there a contract or minimum commitment?
No long-term contracts. The setup fee covers initial deployment, and the monthly fee is billed monthly (or annually if you prepay). You can cancel anytime — see our FAQ for details on the 30-day transition process.
What does "unlimited map updates" mean?
You can upload a new version of your venue map anytime through the admin panel — seasonal changes, new exhibits, construction detours. Every sticker instantly serves the updated map. No extra charge.
What about the 60-day pilot?
The pilot lets you test TapTheMap at your venue with real guests before committing to the full setup fee. You pay a reduced setup ($149/$199/$299 depending on tier) plus the standard monthly rate. Do you accept purchase orders?
Yes. We accept credit card, ACH, check, and purchase order. Standard terms are Net 30 from invoice date. If your organization requires different terms, we'll work with your procurement process.
What are HTML content pages?
HTML content pages are mobile-optimized web pages for text-heavy content that changes frequently — event schedules, food menus, program guides, speaker bios, safety notices. Upload a Word document (.docx) through your admin panel and the system converts it to a branded, phone-ready page in under 2 seconds. Phone numbers become tappable. Emails become tappable. Content goes live instantly. Included at no extra charge for Growth and Campus tiers. Available as a $25/month add-on for Starter.
What if my venue doesn't fit neatly into a tier?
